Plesk 9.x wrong disk usage !

In 9.0.0 and 9.0.1 and now in 9.2.1 I have noticed that plesk does wrong measurment of disk usage.

It actually almost doubles it.

du -h domain1

returns 152mb... Plesk disk usage report 250mb.

On another domain ... In the shell I see 360M with the dbs is 390mb. Plesk Disk usage almost 600 mb.


Any ideas why ? Another guy asked in the par. forums but no official reply.

You should take into account mail disk space, logs disk space.

The problem is somewhere else. Its not that simple unfortunately.

Found out why this happens...

Plesk calculates from the backup that I do the space used from each domain and adds it in the domain ! Is there anyway to set plesk not to calculate the backup that an administrator does in the users ?

In Plesk 8.6 you can change what is and what is not included under Server > Server Preferences > Include in the disk space usage calculation. You could uncheck 'domain backup files' there.

Don't know about Plesk 9.x.
