Plesk mysql issue

OS:

Code: Select all

Centos 5.9 x64
Plesk 11.0.9 #MU55
mysql-5.5.32-19.el5.art

I see these messages in my httpd error_log:

Code: Select all

System error 2: No such file or directory
pipelog: Unable to connect to Plesk Database: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
System error 2: No such file or directory
pipelog: Unable to connect to the mysql database

I'm using pipelog like this KB:

Any advise?

That KB article is horribly out-dated.

Since you are using Plesk 11, have you ran "/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all" ?

That's thru but pipelog is still working.
Otherwise horde will be broken with a large amount of domains. (blank screen)

I'm running about 800 domains on a machine.

i have run /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all the problem is still there.

It looks like /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/pipelog on your machine can't connect to your database server.
