One of our operators was trying to downgrade a php-memcached package and did this...

All the sites obviously stopped working as well as plesk. I reinstalled all the php* stuff, and the sites are up and running. All the stuff is there in /usr/local/psa and the databases are still there. Plesk is not working, and the service isn't in /etc/init.d/psa anymore.

Are we boned with plesk at this point? I'm afraid to run the autoinstaller in fear it'll overwrite my databases and vhosts and whatnot. Any guidance here would be sweet.

thanks,

Andy

Yeah that removed plesk, if you have a plesk backup of the system you could restore it with that pretty easily.

No way to use the autoinstaller to reinstall? I don't have a full plesk backup, but like I said all the sites and all the psa databases are still there. No way to just re-install the packages or use the auto-installer to install using the current databases? What about a full DB backup, reinstall using the autoinstaller and then db restore?
