Update phpMyAdmin of PSA with yum?

Unread post by BasicArtStudios »

Hi there,

how can i update the psa-phpmyadmin without any risk? Can i overwrite the location /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/domains/databases with the actual release?

Thanx in advance...

Ive never tried to be honest, its possible that the code is modified as well. You might want to diff the installed version with a pristine copy of the same thing. I'll bet its modified

Yes, its very hard to do that.

The problems start with the extension. In the actual release from phpMyAdmin all files are called .php, but PSA uses .php3 as extension.

So i'd better be leaving it as it is. I think it's save enough behind the SSL and Login of Plesk.
