php-eaccelerator

Unread post by Kalimari »

The latest version of php 5.4 is 5.4.29-35, but php-eaccelerator is at 1:5.4.28_0 - which causes a Dependency Resolution error.
Would be possible to update php-eaccelerator please?
Thank you!

Doh, sorry about that! It should be in the mirrors now.

Great stuff, thanks Scott!
Counting down to PHP 5.5 and built-in opcode cache!

PHP 5.5 (and 5.6!) are both available through the PHP Panda now. Give it a try with:

yum install php-panda

Thanks for the heads up! Just waiting on some code updates to bring websites inline with PHP 5.5.
php-panda requires FCGI, so that is out of the question at the moment as I believe FCGI doesn't support opcache.
Just haven't had an opportunity to weigh up all the pro's/con's yet...
