ASL-lite first time configuration

While ASL-lite seems to install just fine on a CentOS 6.3 machine with cpanel, when trying to use it, it pops up this first time configuration and appears to simply freeze.
From other posts I understand that the configuration questions are simply not visible, but without knowing what they are, it is pretty hard to complete the configuration.
Would completing the config file at /etc/asl/config manually make it work, or will it still ask to be configured?
