SecComponentSignature takes one argument, component signature to add to ModSecurity signature.

I was forced to commend out the loading of he tortix WAF in httpd/conf.d in order to get the httpd service running again. But now the server is without a WAF, and that doesn’t feel safe.

It probably means you're excluding the mysql packages in your yum config. We typically bypass that during install and upgrades through aum, but when you're calling yum directly like that its just doing what its configured to do. Try adding --disableexcludes=all to your command, or otherwise update your yum configs
