Disable APACHE_SSLPROTOCOL in ASL configuration

Unread post by prupert »

We want to disable APACHE_SSLPROTOCOL and APACHE_SSLCIPHERSUITE in the ASL configuration on certain servers.

How do we prevent ASL from overwriting the /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf? We tried removing the directives from /etc/asl/config, we tried setting them to blank, to "none", to "no". It does not seem that these settings in /etc/asl/config are doing anything, because "asl -s -f" keeps overwriting the ssl.conf.

Set them to "custom".
