Apache 2.4 on cPanel

Customer support forums for Atomic Protector (formerly Atomic Secured Linux). There is no such thing as a bad question here as long as it pertains to using Atomic Protector. Apache 2.4 on cPanel

I see in ASL 4.0.6, support for Apache 2.4 on cpanel is now supported but it notes for performance reasons it's recommended to continue using 2.2. What are the performance issues? Everything I read is that 2.4 is faster and decreases sever load over 2.2.
