mod_security 2.9

Unread post by Imaging »

Are there rpms for mod_security 2.9 for CentOS 5.x in the asl repo? On our ASL/Centos 5.x boxes, not seeing a modsec update (showing fine on our CentoS 6.x install).

Thanks.

It might not be possible for a while yet to do that on EL5. Mod_security requires some API components that only exist in newer versions of apache.

Thanks for the update. Similar issue with nginx 1.63 with modsecurity compiled in for CentOS 5.x?

Havent gotten to that just yet, but theres a good chance it will be there too. However there is more flexibility there on el5 since we can change major things in nginx without there being an impact on the whole system. Not so easy with httpd since we're not controlling the code there.

Sorry, I need a 1 year and 221 day warning. Is that possible to arrange?
