spamd doesn't start automatically on reboot

Unread post by Galactic Zero »

Spamassassin 3.2.5 installed with qmail-scanner-2.08-3.

On server reboot the spamd doesn't automatically start. What should I be looking at.

Thanks.

check if a spamassassin script is under rc3 with SXXspamassassin or whatever runlevel you boot.
otherwise create it.

a free number. It defines the order the scripts are run.

so, just use touch S99spamassassin and all should be good? or do I need to copy an actual script file there?

of course a script is needed. you might find it under /etc/init.d and you should create as a symbolic link.

and to top this off, I've verified that spamd, clamd are both running, have run qmail-scanner-reconfigure and the mail is not being checked...

This stopped after I hard to roll back openssl/modssl/httpd due to the CP not starting because PSA is incomparable with the patched progs.

Any link?
