dcc-1.3.142-1.el6.art requires sendmail-milter?

Unread post by breun »

I noticed the upgrade to dcc-1.3.142-1.el6.art wants to install sendmail-milter on a Plesk server running qmail+qmail-scanner. Is this right? The EL5 package for dcc doesn't do this.

I'm seeing this too. I was a bit puzzled.

I let it install it....

Scott, is sendmail-milter really a dependency for dcc 1.3.142 on EL6? I'm wondering since it isn't on EL5.

http://www.rhyolite.com/dcc/INSTALL.html mentions Sendmail milter. There seems to be no sendmail-milter package on EL5, but I also can't find another EL5 package providing libmilter.so*. The EL5 dcc package also just doesn't require libmilter, while the EL6 one does. I've looked at the dcc-art.spec file from dcc-1.3.142-1.art.src.rpm, but I can't find the reason in there either.

Oh well, I'll just upgrade then...
