SpamDyke on PLESK 11 - with MySQL

Unread post by AntiochInteractive »

I am running the latest PLESK with Qmail-Scanner / Spamassassin / ClamAV.

I install psa-spamdyke and spamdyke. I install it, installation resets xinetd - before installing psa-spamdyke and spamdyke - and things woulid appear to be running fine... although I'm not really seeing evidence that spamdyke is doing anything...

If I restart xinetd - then it stops working and all I see in my maillog is an endless list of relaylocks.

If I comment out the mysql lines in /etc/spamdyke.conf - it's fixed.

Any clue as to why the MySQL bit isn't working?

Hi,

I know that it should work under Plesk11. The developer already tested it.
Latest versions and download links are:

Spamdyke Control Panel:
Version: 2.8
http://haggybear.de/en/downloads/Plesk- ... l-Panel-2/

latest changelog entries:

Version 2.8
Spamdyke Control Panel Watchdog implementation. Own system to check for correct spamdyke integration on the system (useful for cases of broken config after a Plesk update).
Can be de-/activated as a setting.

Version 2.7
Quicklink integration in the left Menu of the Plesk Panel for the admin

Version 2.6.2
Bugfix that no one execpt the admin can access the SCP

Version 2.6.1
Bugfix if a additional domain user in Plesk 10 try to use the SCP

Version 2.6
Integration of the event handler in Plesk 10.x and implementation of the
header-flag backlist of spamdyke 4.3.1. To use it add this line to spamdyke.conf:
header-blacklist-file=/var/qmail/spamdyke/blacklist_headers

...

Spamdyke Wrapper Plesk 9/10/11:
http://haggybear.de/en/downloads/Patche ... l-Panel-2/

Spamdyke MySQL Logging:
Version: 4.3.1

I hope that helps.
