Using gmail tagged spam to train spamassassin?

Unread post by catch22media »

I've figured out a way I can get the emails that gmail has tagged as spam into a mailbox on my server that I can then use to train spamassassin with. However I was examining the headers and was a bit reluctant to use them because of the headers that gmail adds (example below).

Can anyone provide any insight as to whether this is a good idea or not or if these headers are going to effect anything anyway?

Luke
