This is the initial release of OSSEC 2.0-1 for general use in the [atomic] channel.
This package is a *generic* implementation of OSSEC (http://www.ossec.net) that does not include any of the ASL extensions. It is intended to be as close to the vendor shipped version from ThirdBrigade (http://www.thirdbrigade.com).
Using both the [atomic] and [asl-2.0] channels should not conflict with one another, since we will be maintaining a "newer" (ossec-hids-2.0-2) version in the [asl-2.0] channel.
To install:
yum install ossec-hids ossec-hids-server
