I been holding back on upgrading my Plesk to 7.5.3 because I have the latest Arts mysql and php install on 7.5.2 and wanted to know if it safe to go to control panel and do a upgrade from there or do I need to downgrade the php and mysql from Art back to Plesk's?
Thanks
Bill
Any update on Plesk 7.5.3 upgrade on Art's mysql and php yet
just update on top of it?
Were you running Art php and mysql before you updated it and just update to 7.5.3 right on top of it?
Curious how do you update your Plesk? download the all but php and mysql rpms and install? or use the Plesk Auto Updater in the control panel?
Thanks
Bill

I was running Art's php and MySQL before I upgraded to 7.5.3.
I used to use the updater in the control pannel to upgrade but because I'm running FC3 (not officially supported) the autoupdater won't work for me so I have to upgrade by downloading all the rpms and installing them manually. Plesk doesn't provide MySQL rpms and if they do provide a php rpm (I think its built into the psa rpm) it would only be for the Plesk Control pannel as it uses its own php/apache server that is not connected to the php you run for your sites.
