Hi Scott,
To get your latest spamassassin upgrade (31/05/2005) to work on Centos 3.4, I had to install the perl-Net-DNS-0.48 package from Dag Wieers' repository.
Before I did that, when I tried to start spamd, it said:
Net::DNS version is 0.31, but need 0.34
Just letting you know, so if necessary you can include that package automatically
Thanks again!
Chris.
Net-DNS and spamassassin upgrade
note to get spamassassin to work after I fixed this, I had to rerun
/usr/bin/qmail-scanner-reconfigure
headers now show:
(replaced real host name with munged.host.name etc).
btw, any idea if there is there any reason why this header is split over 3 lines. wierd?

Hey the good news is I'm working on being completely compliant with Dag wieers rpmforge project, we're mostly there now so it shouldnt be a problem to mix dag's (or any rpmforge archive) with mine.
btw, that perl-Net-DNS package should have been in the OS [base] channel as well. Its a pretty common lib
