How to upgrade libxml from 2.6.32 to latest version

Hello,

I have installed plesk ver 8 in my linux fc8 box and having php Version as 5.2.6, The current libxml version is 2.6.32 but I have to upgrade the libxml to latest version so can anyone provide me the exact steps to proceed the same.

you'd probably need to backport that from a src.rpm from newer version of fedora.

You're much better off upgrading your OS. fc8 has been end of life for years and you're running a system with several known and critical security flaws for which there are no vendor patches. If its a server I recommend you install Centos or RHEL and not use Fedora, unless you don't mind upgrading the whole server every 18 months.
