I guess I dont understand what a problem with Plesk and apache has to do with a kernel. I can't find anything in that thread that would lead me to think that thread has anything to do with any OSes kernel, is there something you can add that shows they are discussing a kernel issue?

You already have a thread open regarding the segfaults and core dumps you have with PHP and apache, perhaps that is what you are referring to? If so, your previously reported segfaults are not caused by the kernel, the backtraces show that. If you want to discuss segfaults with apache/php/etc. please add to that thread about those issues:
