Mysql downgrade - 4.1 -> 4.0.x how?...

Unread post by Momo »

Hi,

Accidentally upgraded to mysql 4.1.x on Plesk Reloaded 7.5.4.
Everything is ok, but.... there are some of the sites which are not much compatble with 4.1 version

Is it possible to flawlessly downgrade to 4.0.x version? Using yum?

not using yum, no. It doesn't support rollbacks (yet). You can downgrade with rpm though, its just a few more steps.

Manually download the rpms from the repository and install them with rpm using the --oldpackage option.
