Trying to get OpenVAS setup to replace nessus at my company, and all seems to finally be working except for when I click the NVT Feed link under administration on the web gui I get "Internal error: get_feed_oap:904"
I've been searching for a while and seen others with the problem but no solution seems to have been found. I can not find any logs that mention the errors either so I dont know where to go from here. It's not a big deal to me, but I would like this working flawlessly before I present it to the rest of the IT group.
running CentOS 5.9 if that helps at all.
Thank you

Re: Internal error: get_feed_oap:904
So first I'd recommend using CentOS 6 instead of 5 if at all possible. Some of the support components arent available for Centos 5, so you wont be able to look for as many things on that platform.
The NVT updater is really this script: /usr/sbin/openvas-nvt-sync, its set up to run nightly when you run openvas-setup. Otherwise you can run it manually at any time.
That OAP error I've never seen before, but it could be related to libmicrohttpd. At the moment there is a known incompatibility with libmicrohttpd 0.9.15 and newer. Eventually I'll have a bridge package put together to handle that, but in the mean time you might have to yum downgrade to 0.9.7 (the previous version) from 0.9.22 (current version)
