Dependency problems upgrading to PHP 5.1.2 (Atomic Bleeding)

When upgrading (a customer needs php-pdo):

Error: Missing Dependency: php = 4.3.11-2.8 is needed by package php-pear
Error: Missing Dependency: php = 4.3.11-2.8 is needed by package php-domxml

Both php-pear and php-domxml aren't installed (or removed). Why is "yum update php" giving errors about some 4.3.11 version? Please help.

you'll need to remove all of you old php installation before installing 5.1.2
