So if I change HTTPD_VHOSTS_D /var/www/vhosts to the old directory then everything created/migrated from that point will go to the old system?

Sounds good to me.

I've turned all my DNS SOA's down to 5 minutes and moved NS2 to the new machine... just giving it another day or two to let those records flow out and then I'm going to start moving clients over.. the way I see it, I should be able to migrate a client, then kill their NS1 DNS record on the old box, and within 5 minutes everyone should be picking up the new A record from the new machine running NS2.

Then when everyone is moved, transfer NS1's IP over to the new machine. Then work on a way to have NS3 at a remote location and syncronize to them... bleh..

You can also forward requests from one server to another using netfilter. I wrote it all up in my book

The book that I really should buy, but it will end up like the certification manual for MySQL 4 - on the floor somewhere because I have no time to read it...

I changed the flag but the hosts are still creating in /var ... I might not have restarted Plesk though.

Never mind, I never make the config file change.. works now, just had to move .skel, chroot and default over into the new dir.
