That makes sense. So I should be upgrading the OS before I put Plesk in then. I'll go look, but off the top of your head, any idea what ships with CentOS 4.4?

CentOS 4 has patched versions of PHP 4.3.9 and MySQL 4.1.20, but of course you can use ART's channel to get PHP 5.0.4 (possibly PHP 5.1.x soon?) and MySQL 4.1.21 (possibly MySQL 5.x soon?) if you need the features of those newer versions.

I might just go to 5.2.0, since you can get 5.1 with centosplus right now.

Well, I'm hoping to start rolling clients into this box come Jan 1 so I dunno, I might stay at ver 4 on php/mysql..

If anyone is wondering - the latest patch seems to have fixed the backup problems I was having. All clients are being backed up nightly again.

Also, most of the ads and offers can be turned off now. There's still a Virtuozzo ad in the upper-right corner that won't go away.

Another observation - CPU usage has gone down dramatically since I installed the latest patch.
