OK Ive got an FC3 box I'm seeing this on as well. Just to doublecheck, is everyone with this problem on FC3?
Heres the debug info so far, spamd isnt honoring the -H flag. Somewhere its assuming the home dir is /qmail/. I haven't been able to trace where that is coming from yet.
A very dirty workaround is to link the qmail directory to /:
ln -sf /var/qmail /qmail

Yes, I'm only seeing this on my FC3 servers. Not on FC2.

I am using PLESK 8.1 with spamassassin-3.1.7-1.rhel3.art and getting the same error:
locker: safe_lock: cannot create tmp lockfile /var/qmail/mailnames///.spamassassin/auto-whitelist.lock.hostname.info.20037 for /var/qmail/mailnames///.spamassassin/auto-whitelist.lock: No such file or directory
Any idea's?

Sry I didn't see that post that said there was a fix for it.
Quite simply i forgot to use the qmail-scanner-reconfigure

hi, i followed the instructions in the fix, but to no avail, i just keep getting the same error.... anyone got any fourther suggestion on how i can trouble shoot and /or fix..??
