PSA 5.0.5 RedHat 7.3 PHP Upgrade

Unread post by Armitage »

After reading the SWSoft forums about upgrading PHP I have tried using yum to do so using the atomic yum repository.
However, after issuing the yum install php command, I am told that I have the latest version but I know this not to be true.
rpm -q php
php-4.1.2-7.3.10.legacy

Any suggestions?

Cheers.

Make sure you're using the atomic channel, and use "yum update"

Scott,

I had already configured yum to use:
# THIS CHANNEL CONTAINS MY PSA COMPATIBLE RPMS (php, mysql, qmail-scanner, etc)
[atomic]
name=Atomic Rocket Turtle - $releasever - Atomic PSA-Compatible RPMS
baseurl=http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomi ... eleasever/
baseurl=http://archive.atomicrocketturtle.com/a ... eleasever/
baseurl=http://www.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomi ... eleasever/
Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Oh sorry, didnt notice you were using 7.3. I dont make 7.3 rpms any more, you might want to poke around on some other sites, seekbrain.com used to maintain 7.3 php rpms, I dont know if he still does.
