php 5.x on RH9 / plesk 6

can i safely upgrade PHP 5.x on my RH9/Plesk 6 box?

as i am trying to get php-gd to install, but it seems php-gd for php 4.4.2 is not available anymore, and installing from rpm doesn't work either:
[root@server1 root]# rpm -ivh php-gd-4.3.11-2.8.i386.rpm
warning: php-gd-4.3.11-2.8.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 4f2a6fd2
error: Failed dependencies:

Yep, Ive been running 5.0 on ART (rh9 box) for over a year now

Hello!

I am trying to do exactly the same, but I get a conflict between psa and mysql error. I know mysql > 4.0 isn't compatible with my version of Plesk, but even when I try yum upgrade php I get the same error.

What can I do?

If you're running PSA older than 7.5.4, then that is a legitimate error. You cant use mysql 4.1, which php 5 is linked against, on older versions of PSA.
