Ruby on Rails ?

Looking to set this up on my server for folks to use. Have been reading that there are problems with fcgi and some are using scgi instead. The person that was developing scgi has now been working on mongrel.

So, with the problems of fcgi would scgi or mongrel be the better way to go?
How will or could this affect plesk 7.5.4?

Running RHEL3.
