are the ART archives already patched against the php.ini vs. ini_restore()?

it affects both PHP5 and 4.4.4

no, but the ASL mod_security rules cover it. I might put out an update for the ASL version of php 4.4.4 later today. Im waiting to see how the php.net folks respond before I make my own update.
