So, plesk has a 64 bit of 8.1 available for CentOS 4.3, but not 4.4 .. I just burnt a copy of 4.4 for my new server.. is there really going to be a difference or a problem putting Plesk 8.1 for what they claim is 4.3 onto CentOS 4.4?

The only difference between Centos 4.3 and 4.4 is that 4.4 has all the updates applied.

Good good. So if I choose, I can install CentOS4, then buy ASL and slap it on top, then install Plesk 8.1 and life is good? 8)

Yeah, or for that matter if you installed 4.3, and ran yum update, you'd be on 4.4.

True, but since I've never had CentOS, I just burnt the 4.4 64 bit DVD.

Bought new UPS's for the server tonight, going to drill the rack into the floor tomorrow, re-subnet some of our network for it, and fire her up!
