authenticate before local to local mail.

Hey Everybody,
I'm having some issues with authentication on plesk 7.5 with outlook , basically authetication works fine for remote servers, but does not take place for a local mailname.
I know you can't authenticate all mail to a local mailname , as if you did you would get no internet mail at all, but if you have the ability to authenticate then having it happen before my server even sees where the mail is going to would be nice.
I keep getting things along the lines of spamassassin saying that mail has been sent directly from a dynamic address etc if mail is going locally, this in turn messes up my SPF , only in a local to local scenario.
I know this was not the case in a sendmail based setup I once had, where local to local, authenticated sending showed as originating at the server.
Maybe i'm looking at it the wrong way, but qurb says my email is not verified, and spamassassin says mail was sent directly from a dynamic address and I'd like to fix it.
Idea's, comments, corrections, requests for further info, all very much welcomed.
Thanks!
