Unread post by manuxer »

Hi,
I've got a dedicated server, instaled with FC2. And my job is now to upgrade mysq 3.23 to 5.1 and php 4 to php 5. I have plesk 8.1 on it.
Please tell me if it's posibile, and if someone done this and succeded.
Any help is welcome.

Definitely look into upgrading your OS first, Im pretty sure even the 3rd party yum archives have dropped FC2 now.

Well, Dag is still building for Red Hat 7.3 and RHEL 2.1...

But yeah, FC2 is old and you're probably running a few unpatched services.

Yeah hes using dar, which will still let you build for those platforms. I'm using mock now, and I dont have working configs for those environments.
