Kernel for 1&1 Servers....

Someone made the unfortunate mistake of upgrading their kernel to the one included with Plesk 7.5 and it doesn't work....
This was discussed for some time on the old forums but no one was able to figure out how to solve it....

It is looking like 8139too.o is not being found, the nic driver for the kernel. Anyone else experienced this?
