MySQL 5 for FC3 suddenly in the archives?

Unread post by breun »

I noticed the FC3 channel on the new server now has MySQL 5 (but no PHP 5) and it doesn't seem to be possible to upgrade cleanly:
Resolving Dependencies

--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Missing Dependency: mysql = 4.1.21 is needed by package mysql-compat
It seems there is no mysql-compat package for MySQL 5. Is this right, Scott? I thought you stopped supporting FC3, so I was a bit surprised to see new packages pop up anyway. I just thought I'd try when I noticed this.

I did, those are probably leftovers from when FC3 still worked.
