Hi,

I'm trying to install PHP 5.2.4 on a FC2 (I know that this is an old release but currently I can't upgrade)

I found a nice tutorial how to compile & upgrade PHP for FC2 & Plesk.

The only issue I have is that I need the mysql-devel package but I can use the one from FC2 as I'm using Mysql 4.1.20 Release: 1.art.rhfc2.art

Is it possible to have the mysql-devel package?

yum install mysql-devel is not working for you? I do see the mysql-devel package for fc2 is still available though: http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomic/art/2/RPMS/

With yum it's was not working. I've downloaded now the package and installed.
