I am attempting to follow some instructions on the SWSoft forums regarding creating a RPM for FP on CentOS 5/Plesk 8.1+ but am running into some problems.

I am just wondering if there is anyone here who may be interested in having a look at the thread and checking out the issue I have run into. I have no experience with compiling source/building RPMs, so I am lost here and would very much appreciate some guidance.

Thanks!

Have anyone suceeded in getting Frontpage to work under CentOS5/64bit? I managed to make the rpm as described in the SW-soft forum, but customers cannot publish, and if I try to open FP Webadmin I get the error:

attempt to invoke directory as script: /usr/local/frontpage/version5.0H\x0f\xc9\xbf2523

Is there a solution that makes Frontpage work on CentoS5?

Ah, I got it to work by setting some permission (as described in the thread in the SW-soft forum).

...or maybe not. After I did the ownership/permission changes described in my previous post (SW-soft forum), the FP Webadmin started asking me for username/password which I though meant that it was working. But when sypplying the u/p I get a new error:

File does not exist: /var/www/vhosts/fehr.no/httpdocs/_vti_bin/_vti_adm/fpadmcgi.exe

Anyone?
