update apache 2.0.52 to apache 2.2.6

Would you tell me how ca I update the apache 2.2.6 on centos4 already with apache 2.0.52

the problem is :
on this server I have Plesk 8.3.0

the first time when I try to install apache 2.2.6 is work but I can't enter on plesk to administrate the domain already configurated

so I need a help to update all server with last versione of apache

thank you in advance for your help

on the serrver I have php versione 5
and mysql 5.0.24a

You'll have an easier time with it if you just upgrade to centos5.

Why do you need version 2.2.6?
