Hi,

I'm running an old VPS with WebFusion using Plesk 7.5.4.

I have the SpamAssassin running (Plesk), and have set the global settings to Hits required: 5 with no white list of black list.

I recently took on a clients domain that hits magnet for spam emails due to his previous provider. But some spam seems to be getting through.

The problem is I don't want to enforce too tight rules as it could filter emails that are not spam, yet I need to cut down there spam intake.

Help!

Matt

Couple things:

Greylist
Update SA to latest version
sa-update for latest rules

http://taint.org/2007/08/15/004348a.html
Use bayes and train it with the spam slipping through

If all else fails, use gmail to host the email.

At least you have a chance to be only one. My clone is a hockey player (Andy Sutton) and would probably wipe the floor with me.
