Hello there!

I have a RootServer with Fedora 6 and Plesk 8.4 and I need a newer PHP-Version than it was installed.

So I will try ART, but I can't make big misstakes with the server, cause it's running productiv.

I would like to make backup's from the directories that are affected by the installation of the ART and the following upgrades, so if there is any problem, I can afap get my old installation back.

But from what directories I have to make a tar-archiv?

You have Plesk so I would use their backup system to handle it

Code: Select all

#/usr/local/psa/bin/pleskbackup all /path/to/backup/file
Be sure to edit that second parameter to a real path and once your backup is done, move it offsite.
