Anyone know why or what would trigger this error? This server has 4 gigs of memory and i can't figure out why it would trigger this.

Received From: D2540->/var/log/messages
Rule: 1002 fired (level 2) -> "Unknown problem somewhere in the system."
Portion of the log(s):

Dec 10 08:58:52 D2540 kernel: allocation failed: out of vmalloc space - use vmalloc=<size> to increase size.

Ok i narrowed it down,

This is happening when i'm in the Block List GUI and when i try to add a IP that triggers signature 50118 in the blocklist to the Blacklist from the ASL dashboard.

Thats when this happens.

How many shuns / geoblocks do you have? I just saw something related to this on a virtuozzo box the other day.

The geoblock is using all except US,Canada and Mexico. There is only about 20 Ip's in the Blacklist.

And this box better not be a VPS or i'll go nuts on the provider, it's suppoes to be a dedicated server. Is there a way to tell if it's a VPS?

Id dial back on the geoblocking and see how it goes, I think we went over 90,000 entries a few weeks ago. Paste your uname -a output here, I can tell you if its a VPS or not.

Thanks alot scott,
This server is actually a temp server while i re-image my primary which i just completed and installing plesk now.

Good thing is the re-imaged server won't be a PAE kernel so that will help out with the issues i have cause of the PAE.

But i do have a question.
Since i need to put ASL on the re-imaged server but only have one subscription. Do i need to buy another subscription or can i install on the new server with same info from temp?

The temp server is a rental only once i move all my clients back to the re-imaged server i will be cancelling the temp server rental and will un-install ASL before i cancel it with Site Genie.
