Hi.
does anyone knows how to switch easily from postfix (this bug
http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.p ... post362822 is really too annoying for me) to qmail please?
Thanks.

it seems that postfix is better than qmail, so why the mails don't work? we can't send any mails....

I havent had a chance to work with it yet, but I'm really excited about postfix in Plesk. We actually had that on the roadmap as far back as Plesk 2.0 (that would have been 2000 or 2001!)

Scott,
I can't agree more! The moment plesk 9 came I put it on and removed that horrid qmail and I swear I will never ever use it again!
It's also compounded it's modified by parallels, where now I am using postfix-2.6 I built myself as postfix is standard not butchered!
It's easy to play with the main.cf to eliminate backscatters, you can whitelist.

Hi,
The "switch" between qmail and postfix can be easily done via the plesk autoinstaller (command line).
You simply "add" one of them. I did it from qmail to postfix, postfix to qmail, and again qmail to postfix.
The best of all: it doesn't lose your configuration!
Personnaly, I do like Postfix, but I've one last problem...
