seems that after the 5.2.9 update any mail script coming from our server on all domains are coming from anonymous@domain.com or from root@domain.com. Seems that since the update these scripts no longer use the from email address that is assigned in the script.
Is anyone else having similar issues?

No I'm not seeing that, I tested it out by sending from Horde.
