Troubles after upgrade PHP

Hi,

My configuration:

Linux 2.6.10-1 FC2 / PSA 7.2.5 / openssh-3.9p1-2 art / php-4.3.11-6 art / Apache 2.0.51-2.9 / ImageMagick 6.2.1 / Ghostscript 7.07 / mysql 4.0.24-2 art / Zend 2.5.7 (installed before upgrade) / snort 2.3.2 / apf+ados 0.9.5 / Tomcat 4.1.24 / SA 2.63-8 / Postgresql server 7.4.7-3.FC2.1 / psa-sitebuilder 1.1.1 / sim 2.5.3 / ...

First of all thanks for the mysql update, went smooth (updated last month).

Now, I have a few problems after upgrading php to the latest 11-6 version. Httpd stops responding, websites are down but Plesk service shows httpd ON. Sim restarts between 5 and 15 times a day apache because the websites are freezed. After all Tomcat went down and it was impossible to restart it thru Plesk. The catalina.log showed me "out of memory" so I increased memory for tomcat in the tomcat4.conf. I was able to stop tomcat by shell (in Plesk tomcat service showed down), which showed a lot of hanging processes and did a sigterm. Tomcat started now over shell, but not over Plesk CP. At the same day (which might be informative) I got 4 warnings from APF-Antidos about DOS attacks. And... I also got a restart report from sim about Postgresql which was down
Now Tomcat is working again, httpd restarts a few times a day by sim automaticly when it freezes. When I look into the error.log:

Cannot open connection "domain_com_Connection"
Connection "domain_com_Connection_ssl" cannot connect

which are only shown for domains that uses Tomcat (4 active users on server). But these errors I had over months before upgrading php, so this cannot be the problem-source.

The messages.log shows a lot of IMAP connects and an increasing amount of lame server resolvings.

Now I don't know where to look further to solve the problem of the hanging apache....

Would als be verry kind if you could place a compat. php-xslt for 11-7 in the repo so I could try to update with yum.

Kind Regards,
Bart
