Ok, This just started happening yesterday, denyhosts is seeing my IP address as an attacker. I only have putty running one session and no other computers on my network are attempting to access sshd. I've moved all /var/log/secure files into an archive and created a new secure file, I've moved the existing hosts.deny file to a backup and recreated, only thing I've installed new is qmail-scanner / actually updated it.
script is 2.6, centos 5 no modifications to script ..
Help?

Help with what exactly? Could you not find any failed login attempts from your IP address in the logs?
Here is the DenyHosts FAQ on how to remove a blocked IP address:
http://denyhosts.sourceforge.net/faq.html#3_19
You could consider whitelisting your IP address in ASL so it won't get blocked.

NM, I'm an idiot... I'd turned off the excessive sessions warning in my Embarq router and my IP must have gotten on a RBL again for some bloody reason. Man I really dislike embarq for an ISP. Atnyway, rebooted the router, got a new IP and all is right in the world again.
Guess I really need to see what the router considers excessive sessions...
