Hi I'm trying to use YUM to upgrade php on a Plesk FC6 installation.

I try

"yum upgrade php" and it halts on these errors:

Code: Select all

Error: Missing Dependency: php < 5.2.0 is needed by package php-sqlite
Error: Missing Dependency: libXaw.so.7 is needed by package t1lib

The problem is, i'm trying to install PHP 5.2.9.. but PHP < 5.2.0 is needed to do this upgrade? I'm currently on 5.1.6 so I don't understand why it won't work.

Any advice you can offer? Thanks

You might not have any working repos for the other dependencies. FC6 was EOL'd a while ago, and I'll bet all the mirrors are gone
