PHP 5.2.16 and Plesk 10.1.1

Hi, just wondering if anyone has successfully installed php 5.2.16 with plesk 10.1.1 using yum package manager, as i can not get php 5.2.17 to install with the newest version of plesk and im stuck with 5.1.16 - i really need to upgrade now!
If so, how did you go about it, was it an easy install?
