vsftpd running ipv6 and ipv4 fails on centos 5

Okay this has got me stumped. I got two conf files.
I used to use these with fedora, and that happily ran vsftpd_ipv4 and vsftpd_ipv6
If I just start ipv6 its fine (by renaming one .conf to .off) then /etc/init.d/vsftpd restart
Then rename around the ipv4 fires.
But both wont.
I have a feeling these is some limit somewhere.
Any pointers, its annoying!
Thanks
