awstats oops -- what have I just done?

In a fit of stupidity, I just did a yum update which included the awstats package from the Atomic repo.

This was on a Centos 4 system that already had the plesk-supplied awstats package (Plesk 8.6).

I suspect something has broken as a result. Although the stats pages show up, the graphic elements are missing (not the charts, the graphics used by the charts, and the graphics used for various icons).

Some errors were noted during the install:

Code: Select all

  Updating : awstats [ 3/12]warning: /etc/awstats/awstats.model.conf created as /etc/awstats/awstats.model.conf.rpmnew
  Updating : awstats ####################### [ 3/12]
chcon: can't apply partial context to unlabeled file /usr/share/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin
chcon: can't apply partial context to unlabeled file /var/lib/awstats
What exactly is the purpose of the ART awstats package? Is it meant to be an update for the plesk one, or is it a stand-along version or what?

Whatever it is, things seem to be in a general mess now. The awstats stats pages are looking for icons in places they shouldn't be. For example in a page's html there's src="/awstats-icon/other/vu.png" but there's no /awstats-icon folder anywhere. The vu.jpg icon is actually located in [var/www/vhosts/domain.tld/httpdocs]/astats/icon/other/ (and in [usr/share/awstats/]wwwroot/icon/other/vu.png).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Faris.

I'd install Plesk's version again.
