I'm confused again
In an EL6/Plesk 10 environment, with clamav, spamassassin, pyzor and razor plus qmail-scanner and ASL (clamd = root), can someone please tell me which user spamassasson should be run as?
Thanks,
Faris.

Re: which user for sa/pyzor/etc ?
Further to this, what about qmail-scanner (qmail-scanner.ini) please?
It has qs_user, qs_group and clamd_user
I know the former needs to be root. But not sure about qs_user and qs_group (default qscand)
Thanks,

Re: which user for sa/pyzor/etc ?
Hi faris,
in my config (CentOS5/Plesk 9.5.4) it's like that:
QS_USER="qscand"
QS_GROUP="qscand"
CLAMD_USER="qscand"
and /usr/bin/spamd
runs as root

Thanks BruceLee.
I'd actually guess that CLAMD_USER should be root if clamd is running as root.
That's what I have at the mo and it seems to be working.
I'm not getting as much detail in my maillog and /var/log/messages as I would like - but I'm not seeing an SA errors so I'm guessing that there are no issues at the moment.
