Can i use the plesk updater instead of the art yum repository?

I tried it before, but it gives me dependency errors. Would it break things if i disable those deps in psa.info?

I need to upgrade to the latest build (75051017.14); it fixes some important bugs.

Sure, it just limits you to the archive sw-soft maintains. They just do the basic dependencies, so you're still going to need to run yum or up2date to get updates from the OS vendor.

You won't be able to get around those dependencies by modifying psa.info, since that is really generated off of the RPM dependency tree. What you could do is resolve those dependencies with yum.
